His exceptional track record includes recent recognition as the 2022 Healthcare Hero of Western Massachusetts by BusinessWest and Healthcare News. Throughout his career, Mark has demonstrated proficiency in overseeing diverse programs, including residential facilities, special-education private schools, foster care initiatives, outpatient clinics, and various case management programs catering to the needs of children and families. With a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a master’s degree in special education from American International College, Mark’s unique combination of business acumen and expertise in human services makes him an outstanding addition to the Helix team.

I appreciate the board’s hard work in achieving this successful CEO search in relatively short time,” said Pappas.
