We invite you to join our largest volunteer effort of the year. With help from individuals and businesses, this legacy event puts smiles on hundreds of children’s faces and helps families share the joy of holiday giving. In 2023 we were able to fulfill 416 wish lists, which equals to approximately over $49,900 in donations!

As the needs of our communities continue to grow, we remain steadfast in our commitment to supporting vulnerable children and families. In 2024, our programs experienced significant growth, enabling us to serve a larger number of children and families. To further expand our reach and meet the increasing demands, we need to expand our team of elves to make sure ALL wishes come true this Holiday season.

It’s easy to participate in Helix Human Services’ Secret Santa program.

• Request a wish list, shop, and deliver the unwrapped gifts to Santa’s Workshop on 60 Sherman Street, Springfield by December 16, 2024. We can arrange for pickup if necessary. Pickups need to be planned ahead of time.
• Is your company, agency, or school interested in participating? Consider hosting a toy drive or a giving tree. This is a great way to invite others to give back to our communities. HHS will provide you with a number of gift tags. Each tag represents one child/youth’s wish. Your students, participants, staff and or clients will grab one tag (or a few) and shop for the item(s). They will return the item(s), unwrapped, with the tag taped to the gift, and place it under the tree or designated area. HHS will arrange a pick up if necessary by December 16, 2024.
• Don’t have time to shop? We can do the shopping for you! Gift cards and monetary donations are welcome.
• Donate via Amazon Wish List. Each item represents one wish from a wish list. The gift(s) will be delivered to HHS. Shop the list here

As we celebrate our 159th year, we’re determined to surpass last year’s achievement of granting wishes to over 416 children, especially as the need in our community continues to grow.
